Perfect Holiday Cookies

This is a photo from 123rf.com.  These are probably the most perfectly decorated Christmas cookies I have ever seen. I wonder how long it took to create just one? They are a work of art.  Do you think you could eat one after so much effort was put into it? I don't think I could....

Ice Candles

 
These are so easy to make. Cut the top off of a milk carton. Pour in some crushed ice. (don’t forget the wick) Pour in the melted wax, let dry and peel off the carton!

Little Visitors

 

A couple “woodland” visitors stopped by this weekend to sit on my new black piano. There was a chill in the air so I gave them some scarves to keep warm.

Homemade Christmas

Went thru my little shed this weekend and found a couple geese I had stored away. Placed them in a $1 yard sale basket together with some greenery from “Michael’s Craft Store”. Tied on a ribbon and Voila ...

They are so cute I think I might try my hand at drawing that string of lights. Another idea would be to print the photo, color it in and wrap a small present in it for a gift.

Homemade Gift Cards

 

I used red card stock, a “dove” rubber stamp shape, “shimmering white” ink pad, “decorative edge” paper cutter, “gold leaf” marker pen and a whole punch. Fun and easy!
